-Allison Rasbury becomes Assistant Drum Major.

 

July:

-Dexter Tenison elected 1st Band Captain of the LCHS Band.

-Other winners include Darren Owens (Lieutenant), Jinger Griner (Sgt. at Arms), and Allison Rasbury (Secretary).

 

October:

-LCHS Band trip to Dalton, Georgia.

 

*1st place at every competition, including "Sweepstakes" awards at the Lebanon "Blue Devil" Invitational, Southeastern Marching Classic, and the Smoky Mountain Invitational.

 

Show:  Swinging Chariots, Vehicle, Jubilee, A Whiter Shade of Pale.

 

November:

4th place at TN Division II State Band Championship.

-Lori Carroll and Allison Rasbury resign as Drum Major and Assistant Drum Major respectively.

-Darrin Duncan chosen as Drum Major, defeating Sara Bersché.

-Sara Bersché becomes Assistant Drum Major.

November:

5th place at TN Division II State Band Championship. 1st place Field Commander, 5th place Guard, 4th place Percussion.

-Sara Bersché resigns as Assistant Drum Major.

-Darrin Duncan and Amanda Smith are chosen as Drum Majors, defeating Jessica Fielder and Brandon Scott.

November:

3rd place in preliminaries at TN Division II State Band Championship, 6th place in finals. 5th place Guard, 5th place Percussion.

January:

-Brandon Bates elected 3rd Band Captain of the LCHS Band.

-Other winners include Josh Holloway (Lieutenant), Jennifer Burns (Sgt. at Arms), and Allison Rasbury (Secretary).        

 

April:

-Joint concert with DeKalb County High School Band.

 

May:

-Darrin Duncan remains Drum Major.

-Crystal Parker chosen as Assistant Drum Major, defeating Jessica Fielder.

-Large number of members quit the band program under controversial reasons.

 

July:

-Director Jim Whittenberg resigns. 

-Assistant Director Chris Metcalfe becomes Director.

-Erin Stover becomes Assistant Director.

                                     

*1st place at every competition, including "Sweepstakes" award at the Wolf River Marching Classic.

-David Stange resigns as Sgt. at Arms.

-Harold Boudreaux elected Sgt. at Arms in special election.
